Banner Box Print Solutions has raised more than £520 in aid of the local branch of the mental health charity Mind, which provides support and advice for anyone experiencing mental health problems.
Founded in the 1990s with a mission to offer exceptional quality print and a real understanding of customer requirements, Banner Box Print Solutions is a long-term supplier for Derbyshire SMEs with a variety of large format print products. Today, as part of the Specialised Canvas Group, Banner Box is the UK’s trusted trade supplier in outdoor advertising, promotional graphics, and printed banners.
Operating from a dedicated print factory as part of a 25,000 sq ft facility in Chesterfield, Banner Box Print Solutions helped to manufacture and supply more than 250,000 pieces of PPE to care homes and front-line workers during the first wave of the pandemic. As the world begins to get back to normality, the team were passionate about supporting Mind, and Mental Health Awareness Week in May was the perfect opportunity.
During Mental Health Awareness Week, Banner Box donated £5 from every order placed and opened a public donation page where staff and customers could make individual donations. The funds raised across the week came to a total of £520.95.
Ryan Shelton, Director at Banner Box Print Solutions says: “Mental Health Awareness Week is an opportunity for people to talk about all aspects of mental health, with a focus on providing help and advice.”
“We chose to fundraise for Derbyshire Mind because as a company we really believe in their cause. The charity helps one in four people in the UK that experience a mental health problem every year. The money raised will fund their vital work including the Mind Infoline, advice services and the campaigning Mind does on a local and national level.”
